Kiwanis is a global organization of
volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one
community at a time.
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Wausau is a service
leadership organization that has played an active role in the
Wausau community for over 50 years!
Fall is here and along
with the changing colors on the leaves, cooler days are ahead. No
less, it is also a great
time to be doing projects in Wausau to make for a
better community. One of the many ways we
worked to make a difference on a global scale is with the Worldwide Service
Project: The Eliminate
Project. The goal of $110 million was raised for this
very important cause. Learn more about how Kiwanis is
joined with UNICEF to rid the world of a
preventable disease, in the process saving mothers and their
Kiwanis One Day will be taking place starting this year and
in the years to come on Make a Difference Day, which is October
22nd. This is the time for all members of the Kiwanis Family
to work jointly in their local communities to do service projects
together. Meantime, on a larger scale for Kiwanis Family month in November is Kiwanis Family Service Day.
This year's service city will be in Fond du Lac and will be a
great opportunity to do hands on service to spruce up town.

Join us on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays in October, and the 1st
& 3rd Thursdays in November. December will feature meetings on the
1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:15pm at
